French photographer, lover of wide open spaces and people attached to their traditions, I have traveled the world for around forty years.
Throughout these journeys, these discoveries, these wanderings, I love, in addition to the pleasure of visual research, the emotions that certain privileged places on the planet can provide, often alone in a nature that surpasses us in its beauty.
But, alongside these wanderings, I also particularly like the encounters they allow with the people of the steppes, mountains or deserts.
Multiple paths, a mixture of fleeting and unpredictable moments, subtle variations of lights, looks and scenes of everyday life.
These special moments lead to an awareness of the beauty of our planet, but also of its fragility,
of the existence of minorities proud of their difference and their traditions, but confronted with the dangers which threaten them by the ambient standardization.
Their way of conceiving the world, their different vision of human relationships and respect for nature, makes us grow and broadens our horizons.
