Syria Jordan – Geo

This region of the world, the cradle of humanity, has been over the centuries a land of civilizations, a meeting point between East and West. Syria presents very diverse aspects: the colorful souks of Damascus or Aleppo, the Krak des Chevaliers or Saladin Castle, the mythical oasis of Palmyra, the Greco-Roman cities of Bosra or Apamea. Jordan, for its part, offers the visitor the fabulous Petra, the Nabataean capital, Wadi Rum and its incredible rock formations, and, further north, the desert castles, the Greco-Roman cities of Jerash or Umm Gays, the biblical sites of the Dead Sea, and the spectacular underwater world of the Red Sea. But above all, it is the hospitality and openness of these peoples that particularly strike the traveler.
