Photography Workshop f2: French Riviera

The French Riviera, a land of contrasts, offers the opportunity to discover several cities scattered along the Mediterranean Sea, unspoiled natural areas, and villages that have retained all their character inland. We will begin with a visit to Nice, a city with many faces, notably the beautiful ochre and yellow houses of the old town and the famous Promenade des Anglais. We will also make a foray into the Nice hinterland where several villages perched on the hilltops offer beautiful views of the surrounding countryside. Then we will head west to a wilder region, the Estérel, with its incredible landscapes of red rocks plunging into a turquoise blue sea. The volcanic rocks, sculpted by the elements, take on varied hues over the hours, turning deep red in the late afternoon. After two days of hiking, we will end by discovering the legendary Saint-Tropez, with its small port, its old town, its traditional houses with pastel facades, and overlooking the orange bell tower of its church.
